Angelite (Angel Stone) Catholic Rosary

This is a "one of a kind" Angelite stone rosary. It's the only one I have in stock because the softness of the stone makes finding beads difficult.

Angelite is one of my most favorite stones. I just love the feel of it!! Also known as Angel stone, this sky blue stone is much softer than others like jasper, onyx, quartz, etc., so it wouldn't hold up well if handled roughly. :) I only mention this because I used to have a customer that regularly and accidentally slammed their rosary in the card door. :)The soft blue color reminds me of Our Lady for some reason which is why I chose the Miraculous center on this one. Who Am I??

2010 was such an interesting and enlightening year for me. Unlike past years, I suddenly had customers complaining that my rosary part prices were too high and should be more in line with other wholesale companies. This was a first for me.... I had never been pressured, bullied, or guilt tripped by my customers before.

Now.... let me start by saying I can totally understand why it started. With the value of the dollar dropping, inflation just beginning, and the jobless numbers rising, many have hit the panic button. Times are tough and money is tight, but the constant barrage made me realize it may be time for me to explain the purpose of my company a little more clearly.

You see, most professional rosary makers get their supplies from wholesale companies who are able to sell stock at a lower cost in return for licensing requirements, higher shipping and handling charges, and minimum purchase requirements. But what about all the other rosary makers out there? What about the people who don't own a business and solely make rosaries out of a strong devotion to their faith? These folks tend to get lost in the shuffle and are the main reason why I started the supply side of my company. People like this don't have a business license. They can't always meet the minimum purchase requirements and they can't always afford to pay the $8-$20 shipping and handling fees charged by many wholesale companies.

So, to clarify, I have never been a wholesale company. Instead, I am a retail company open to everyone including those who love making rosaries but don't have a business of their own.

Since I'm a retail company some of my prices may be a little higher but my shipping charges are lower, customers are not required to have a business license, and there are no minimum purchase requirements. This is also why every rosary part is pictured along side a ruler. You see, some people measure size based on the part alone and others measure based on the part including its rings. This way everyone can get an idea of the part's size no matter which criteria they use. But the most important difference between myself and other suppliers is the fact that I am a 100% non-profit company.

Most of the charities I donate to are listed along with their item. All other profit goes to a family of children in Africa who were orphaned when their parents, aunts and uncles all passed away from aids. These children are depending on me to pay for their education and give them a safe place to live (especially the little girls). This is also why I can't afford to buy my parts in bulk like wholesale companies do. If I were to buy the 5000-10000 required number of every part I offer (like other companies) I wouldn't have any money left for our kids. If I lower my prices further, we will have to let at least 1 little girl go. I'm sorry but I just can't put her personal safety and future at risk simply because some people would prefer to pay .05 less for a rosary center.

I hope I don't sound harsh here. It's definitely not my intention, but I just thought it important that people understand the difference between wholesale suppliers and myself. My business is not a way for me to earn a living. I'm a disabled person who has been unable to work for about 13 years now. Instead, my business is a way for me to give back to my community and others as well. It is a calling or mission, if you will. I'm not sure how else to describe it, but I can tell you I will continue to keep my prices as low as possible in order to give equal access to all potential customers whether they are business owners or not.

I've run into A LOT of people recently who are really struggling with issues ranging from job and other personal losses, to emotional issues, to severe illnesses, etc.. I can't even begin to tell you how much cancer I've seen in the last year or so. It's just staggering! Unfortunately these types of issues seem to be growing by leaps and bounds lately.

Anyway, as a result I decided to do some research on apparitions. What I found was many of the popular places where Our Lady has appeared in person offer online petitions. Recently, I was also informed that the Western Wall in Jerusalem accepts petitions as well. So I thought I would pass the list along, just in case anyone might have need of it.

Don't Forget to Pray for Our Priests

We have had many family members and friends who were priests over the years. The one thing I learned growing up is that every priest is HUMAN. They make the same mistakes we do. The only difference is their mistakes sometimes end up being news of the day, or church gossip.

There is an old saying:

If a priest is a saint, his people will be holy.

If a priest is holy, his people will be good.

If a priest is good, his people will be fair.

If a priest is fair, his people will be mediocre.

If a priest is mediocre, his people will be bad.

I know we tend to take our priests for granted because we assume they are strong and will always be there when we need them. But we forget, they need prayers too. I stumbled upon this prayer from St. Therese of Lisieux recently. I think it fits right now, as I see some local priests forgetting to put God first, and who are so focused on their own career goals they choose to get involved in politics that could destroy local schools and churches.

I guess this is my way of helping. I can't do much..... but I can pray.

O Jesus, eternal Priest, keep your priests

within the shelter of Your Sacred Heart,

where none may touch them.

Keep unstained their anointed hands,

The Liberty Rosary ~ for Charity

I created this rosary as a gentle reminder to pray for our troops, their families, and our country as a whole. May the Holy Spirit touch the hearts of our government leaders and give them the strength to put ALL selfish motives aside, and do what is best for our country and its citizens. May they also become fully aware of how their actions (or inaction) affect and influence the world around us.

Did you know there are varying stories regarding our flag’s symbolism? One thing that remains constant though is the meaning behind the numbers. Each of the 50 stars represent a state in the Republic. And each stripe is a tribute to one of the original 13 colonies that fought and died for the basic freedoms we take for granted today.

As for the color choice, that story varies. Some say the colors were chosen to send a deliberate message to the British (whose flag uses the same). In changing the meaning behind the British red, white, and blue, the early Americans were flaunting their freedom in the face of their previous oppressors (and many others as well). Same colors: completely different meaning.

By taking the dominant British red and breaking it up with white, foreign entities are sent a clear message. Some even believe our red to be solid with the white stripes cutting through as a political statement against foreign rule (and a symbol of our succession from Britain). Still, others believe the white symbolizes the courage of those who fought and died for our freedom with the red representing the blood they shed.

Many believe the blue color to be a representation of justice and freedom. While the stars, taken directly from heaven, are a reminder of what every citizen should be striving for: a seat in heaven. This is why the bottom Paters on my rosary are blue, instead of red.

Even though the original symbolism intended by the founding fathers has been lost over time, one thing is for sure... Our national flag was created as a symbol of sovereignty, sending a clear message to the rest of the world. As you know, many nations’ flags use red, white and blue, but ours is the only one that represents TRUE FREEDOM! Even those countries modern progressives wish to imitate exist without some of the basic liberties we take for granted every day.

It sure gives us something to think about. Doesn’t it? :)

Blood of Christ Rosary

I come from a multi-religious, multi-ethnic family. My father has a bunch of siblings and was loosely raised Protestant (only attending services on Christmas and Easter). My mom's family was much smaller, but they were very devout Catholics which is why she insisted we be raised Catholic too. After a few years of attending masses, my father decided to convert as well.

Growing up we had grandparents, aunt's, uncles, and cousins out the wazoo, but I very rarely saw them. Even to this day only one of my dad's siblings (an Aunt) decided to pursue a relationship with us. Before that the only member of my father's family who accepted us was my Grandfather, who passed away just before I was born. The other family members have always had severe issues with us big, bad, evil, pagan, idol worshiping, Catholics. My "Grandmother" wouldn't even participate in my parent's wedding.

The accusations always varied. We were pagan because in their view we worshiped the saints and Our Lady as gods. We were idol worshipers because we had statues of them in our and homes. The Holy Trinity is such an offensive and overwhelming subject they won't even discuss it. But the one big issue that always comes up is our "preoccupation with the crucifixion". Others believe since our focus isn't solely on the Resurrection we are missing the point. They can't even begin to understand, or relate to, the extreme sacrifice made by Christ, his family, and friends. They believe the torture, emotional abuse, and cruelty Christ suffered is somehow less significant.

The one thing I know from experience is bigots are a difficult group to deal with, especially for a child. How do you maintain your self esteem when others (friends, boyfriends, family members, co-workers, and other acquaintances) keep judging and berating you? The only thing I could do was pray that God would be able to open their hearts to his true message (while struggling with my own self-esteem issues). Until now...

I feel like this rosary is my way of taking a stand. Our religion was created by Christ himself, not man. It is a tribute to the fact that we don't change beliefs just because they are difficult, or unpopular with the rest of society. It is a way for us to meditate on the pain, suffering, and HUGE sacrifice our Lord made for us (even knowing what imperfect children we would be). It is a celebration of His never ending love and also a gentle reminder that we were not created to stand in judgement. God did not sacrifice himself so that we could take his power away by passing judgement on others. We are here to spread his love through words and actions. A lot of people seem to have forgotten what being Christian really means.

But when those bad days, months, or years, come along, don't forget the big picture. Remember what's important, and in today's narcissistic and chaotic world, keep your focus on the light, no matter how much darkness surrounds you. Never forget His sacrifice.

Just add all of your choices to your shopping cart and complete the transaction as you normally would. Once the order is received I will send you a picture (via E-mail) of your choices together so that we can make sure everything looks the way you want it to. Then, once completed, I’ll send another picture for your final approval before shipping.

Basic rosaries use Silver Plate Italian Parts with 22g bright silver plate wire and bright silver plate flat link chain. Upgraded wire, chain, Pater beads, and parts are available as well. Prices listed are without sales tax, shipping or insurance charges. Please allow a few extra days or so for completion of all custom rosaries.

If you are interested in multiple bead colors throughout your rosary, sterling, a custom car rosary, hand rosary, or anything not listed in the store, pleaseE-mail me for a custom rosary price quote. If you want your Pater (Our Father) beads to be a different color, but still in the same price group, just leave me a note in the comment section when placing your order. Custom car rosaries can use just about any bead type. But, I suggest using 6mm beads instead of 8mm because the larger 8mm beads hang much lower from the rear view mirror.

Regarding BRONZE Cathedral Beads: Please keep in mind prices for the BRONZE cathedral beads are quoted using SILVER PLATE wire and parts. I have many customers who like to mix metals so I had to make sure that option was available as well.
